Netflix has already released some big hit series. Is this new product the next star in the streaming sky?
“Stranger Things”, “Money Heist”, “Bridgerton” and Co. – Netflix has already released some streaming hits. The makers of the latter now have a brand new project in the starting blocks: “The Residence”. The crime series revolves around a murder in the White House that occurs during a state banquet. The focus is now on a total of 150 suspects. Cordelia Cupp (Uzo Aduba) and Edwin Park (Randall Park) now have to find out who actually started the crime. Curious? “The Residence” won’t be long in coming.
Then “The Residence” started on Netflix
Just a few more months – then Netflix users can look forward to the new, exciting murder mystery. On March 20, 2025 the time has come and the crime series “The Residence” will celebrate its long-awaited premiere on the streaming service. At that point it will be available worldwide.
“The Residence” shines with a star cast
The cast of “The Residence” is impressive: In addition to the main actors Uzo Aduba and Randall Park, there is an impressive list of other talents. Included are Giancarlo Esposito (“Breaking Bad”), Susan Kelechi Watson (“This Is Us”) and Molly Griggs (“Dr. Death”). Also Al Franken, Isiah Whitlock Jr. (“The Wire”) and Edwina Findley (“Brothers & Sisters”) joins the cast. The cast is rounded out by familiar faces like Jason Lee, Ken Marino, Al Mitchell, Dan Perrault and Bronson Pinchot. Known? Actually, someone completely different should take over Esposito's role…
There are also familiar faces behind the camera: The new crime comedy is produced by Shondaland and brings Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers on board as executive producers. The company is behind hit series such as “Grey's Anatomy”, “How to Get Away with Murder” and “Bridgerton”. Meanwhile, the script comes from Paul William Davies.
