Merz calls for Syrians to be repatriated
The CDU leader also said that Syrian refugees who are already in the country and could work but are not doing so must return to Syria. Merz emphasized that the Syrians who work in Germany and are integrated could “of course” stay.
“But two thirds don’t work, they are mostly young men and many of them can go back.” This has to be implemented.
