Hans Zimmer has created countless international cinema blockbusters, including: “Dune”, “James Bond – No Time to Die”, “The Lion King”, “Gladiator”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “The Dark Knight”, ” Last Samurai,” “Top Gun: Maverick.” On January 11th (8 p.m.) “The Best of Hans Zimmer in Concert” comes to the Stadthalle in Chemnitz.

In 2024, the successful show “The Best Of Hans Zimmer” will receive a new musical program and the title of the show “The Symphonic Dimension” already indicates this: there will be a brand new selection from Hans Zimmer’s diverse musical work. The audience is taken on a magnificent, impressive musical journey into the powerful sound world of the world's most successful film composer at the time.

Hans Zimmer himself says: “I want to preserve the culture of the orchestra and bring the unique facets of orchestral music closer to the audience.” Stephen Ellery will continue to unleash the magic of Hans Zimmer’s masterful soundtracks in 2024 as artistic director and together with outstanding and renowned Soloists who present music in a new “symphonic dimension”. The soloists, choir and orchestra of the Cinema Festival Symphonics, who have been internationally successful for many years, show their great skills here and offer a lively, exciting live experience in all its glory!
