Berlin – A 60-year-old man is in his apartment Berliner Friedrichshain district was arrested. He is suspected of abusing two girls in Brazil and filming the acts.

The police announced this on Tuesday.
Accordingly, the professional photographer is said to have had oral and vaginal intercourse with a then 13-year-old and a 14-year-old in Rio de Janeiro between December 13, 2023 and February 26, 2024. The girls are said to have received 100 Brazilian reals (approx. 18 euros) for this.
He is said to have recorded the crime on video and at least gave the material to the colleague who introduced him to the girl.

The colleague (71), himself a professional photographer, is said to have rented out his apartment in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf for years and lived mainly in Rio de Janeiro.
He is said to have arranged sexual contacts with underage girls from the favelas not only for himself, but also for friends who visited him, such as the 60-year-old. The 71-year-old is also in custody in Rio de Janeiro on suspicion of serious sexual abuse of children and young people.

When analyzing the data carriers, the Brazilian authorities also found film material documenting the 60-year-old's sexual abuse of children and young people.
The officers found numerous data carriers in the apartment. One hard drive had the inscription “Rio de Janeiro”, which is now being evaluated as a priority.
The 60-year-old is in custody on charges of serious sexual abuse of children and young people in conjunction with the accusation of producing and distributing child and youth pornography.
