brake – Just back from a European tour, Angelo Mammone Christian Steenken is back on stage in Brake as the indie dream pop duo “Jonah”. On Wednesday, December 25th, the two brakemen will once again give their fans in their old homeland a special Christmas present. From 8 p.m. they will perform in the Catholic St. Mary's Church. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at the Brake Association tourist information office on Braker Kaje, in the Gollenstede bookstore (Breite Straße and Famila-Center) and in the St. Marien parish office (Clausenstraße 7).
The Braker Duo can look back on a successful year: their songs were streamed over twelve million times on Spotify in a total of 184 countries, reports singer Angelo Mammone proudly. He has just returned from a European tour: As a special guest, he was on tour with the shooting star of electronic music and music producer Ben Böhmer. The two performed together at the legendary Albert Hall in Manchester, at Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) in London and in arenas in Antwerp, Paris, Hamburg and Berlin.
Despite all the success, Angelo Mammone and Christian Steenken are sticking to the tradition of live Christmas concerts in Brake. In recent years, fans of the indie dream pop duo have traveled to these concerts not only from Brake, but from all over Germany – including Berlin, Munich, Cologne and Hamburg. On December 25th, at 8 p.m., it will be that time again.
