The Gators enter the Gasparilla Bowl on a three-game winning streak. After a tough October that included losses to CFP-bound teams like Tennessee, Georgia and Texas, Florida flipped the script in November.

During their winning streak, the Gators' defense improved significantly, holding their opponents to a total of 44 points in three games.

The Green Wave season was a story full of successes. After a slow start, Tulane went on an eight-game winning streak during which they scored more than 40 points five times. But the momentum faded late as the Wave lost its last two games – a 34-24 loss to Memphis and a 35-14 loss to Army in the AAC title game.

While Tulane has struggled in the last two games, this team has shown that it is capable of explosive offenses. A win here would cap a fourth straight bowl appearance in style.

This will be a fun bowl game to kick off the College Football Playoff weekend.
