Samsung Galaxy S21 receives December update
Samsung is expanding the distribution of the December 2024 update to the Galaxy S21 series. After the launch in the USA, the international versions are now also receiving the important update. The update closes several security vulnerabilities in the popular smartphone serieswhich is still in use by many users even after many years (source: SamMobile).
Samsung has now released the latest security update for other variants of the Galaxy S21 family. The update, which has already started in the USA, is now available available for international versions of the Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra. The focus is on fixing various security issues that were still present in the official software version.
After initially supplying the new top smartphones, older generations such as the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra are now also in the series. Installation is recommended because it closes several critical security vulnerabilities.
More smartphones will follow
Since Samsung now not only supplies the new top models with power, but also offers the latest software version for older cell phones, the curtain on the update may have fallen completely. A lot of Samsung smartphones and tablets are likely to receive the December update in the coming days.
