Fans of the series The Blacklist and Prison Break could definitely make a note of the new NBC series The Hunting Party, which has now released the first short trailer and the start date.
What is “The Hunting Party” series about?
Melissa Roxburgh (Manifest, Quantum Leap (2022)) plays Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, a former FBI agent who, after a mysterious explosion, wants to capture a number of prisoners who previously escaped from a secret prison. The whole thing has a similar vibe to “The Blacklist” or “Prison Break”.
Bex and a small team of investigators are tasked with catching the most dangerous killers the country has ever seen, as the official synopsis reveals. The US series starts on Monday, February 3rd on NBC.
Melissa Roxburgh is a Canadian actress best known for her role as Michaela Stone in the mystery series Manifest (2018-2023). Other well-known projects include her appearances in “Star Trek Beyond” (2016), the “Gregs Diary” films “Rodrick Rules” and “Dog Days” (2011 and 2012 respectively), as well as guest roles in Supernatural and the action film “The Marine 4”. : Moving Target” (2015).

Featuring Josh Mackenzie (La Brea) as Shane Florence, an ex-soldier and nun prison guard, Sara Garcia (The Flash) as Jennifer Morales, an intelligence officer and army major, Patrick Sabongui (The Flash) as CIA agent Ryan Hassani, and Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Oliver Odell, Bex's former partner.
JJ Bailey, who hasn't made much of a splash in TV shows, wrote the pilot episode and will also serve as co-showrunner alongside Jake Coburn (The Endgame).
