AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police are asking for the public's help in identifying several suspects allegedly involved in a large disturbance that resulted in a shooting in downtown Austin that left one person injured.
It happened on Sunday, August 4, at around 2:24 a.m. in the 600 block of Trinity Street at the corner of 7th Street.
The police officers assigned to the entertainment district heard gunshots and immediately moved to the intersection.

Officers found a man with a gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital by emergency services, where he is still being treated.
According to investigators, several people were involved in the disturbance, which they believe was related to the shooting.
APD has published video surveillance of the wanted persons on its YouTube channel.
Anyone with video of this disturbance or who recognizes these individuals is asked to contact the APD Aggravated Assault Unit at 512-974-5245 or submit an anonymous tip through the Capital Area Crime Stoppers Program at 512-472-8477. A reward of up to $1,000 may be offered for information leading to an arrest.
