While searching for a murder suspect, police found him after he fell through the ceiling.
About a month after Troy Cunningham was shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee, in April, federal officials in the United States issued an arrest warrant for Deario Wilkerson.
On August 26, officers went to a house, also in Memphis, where they suspected the 20-year-old was.
After the house was surrounded, Wilkerson hid in the attic, the U.S. Marshals Service said in a press release.
While officers were searching the property, Wilkerson fell through the ceiling, leaving chunks of debris and dust in parts of the home's kitchen.
Wilkerson was uninjured in the fall and was taken into custody on charges of first-degree murder and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon in connection with the killing.
