US President-elect Donald Trump has chosen another person from his family circle for office: the lawyer and former Fox News presenter Kimberly Guilfoyle to become US ambassador to Greece. The 55-year-old spoke at the US Republican Party conference in July and is a Trump confidant. She was engaged to Donald Trump Jr. (46), but they recently separated, as US media reported.

Kimberly Guilfoyle is “a close friend and ally,” Trump said on his online service Truth Social on Tuesday. Guilfoyle's “extensive experience”, her leadership skills in the areas of law, media and politics “as well as her keen intellect make her highly qualified to represent the United States and protect its interests abroad,” said Trump, justifying his choice.
Kimberly Guilfoyle was a prosecutor in San Francisco
The lawyer previously worked as a prosecutor in San Francisco and Los Angeles. She has already been married twice, including in the early 2000s to Democrat Gavin Newsom, who was then mayor of San Francisco and is now one of the most prominent figures in his party as governor of the state of California.

Trump names candidates for other positions
