At around 6 a.m., officers from the LKA Saxony and forces from the Saxon riot police moved into an apartment building. Number of officials and their approach – top secret for tactical reasons.
“It sounded like an explosion,” a neighbor (28) told TAG24. “Our dog is completely lost.” Behind the blown-open door, the investigators surprised a 24-year-old Turk.
Between New Year's Eve 2020 and June 2021, Mr. O. is said to have bought and sold more than 70 kilograms of crystal in Leipzig and Dresden as well as two kilograms of cocaine in Berlin. Total value: around 787,000 euros.

During the search, which lasted almost eight and a half hours, the police “only” seized a telescopic baton and around 30,000 euros in cash.
O. has already been brought before the responsible investigating judge. The 24-year-old is in custody.

O. is said to have carried out his drug trade via crypto chats such as “Anchor” or “Sky ECC”.
The intelligence services widely used in the scene promise unbreakable encrypted communication – and are therefore the number 1 point of contact for criminals of all stripes. “Sky ECC” alone has almost 170,000 users worldwide.
According to research by “ZDF frontal,” among others, investigators from Belgium, France and the Netherlands managed to crack the messenger. As the LKA confirmed, the tip about Mr. O. came from one of the three countries.

The Dresden public prosecutor's office is also pleased with the success of the investigation: “The knowledge gained from the decryption is of considerable importance for the evidence in this procedure,” said Senior Public Prosecutor Jürgen Schmidt (49).
