Berlin – It happened three times on Wednesday night Berliner Karlshorst district burned. Suspicion soon fell on a group of teenagers.

Within just 30 minutes, two containers and a car trailer were on fire, the police reported.
It started at 10:30 p.m. with a burning waste paper container on Waldowallee near Rheinsteinstrasse. Ten minutes later, the glass container on the corner of Waldowallee and Ehrenfeldstrasse was also ablaze.
At 11 p.m., a car trailer finally followed its fiery predecessor down Maria-Matray-Strasse. The Berlin fire brigade was able to extinguish all fires.

Meanwhile, a witness alerted the emergency services to a group of young people who had previously been in the affected area.
The police officers then checked two boys aged 13 and 14. No concrete suspicion was substantiated.
After the check, the young people were handed over to their parents or the youth emergency service. A fire commissioner from the State Criminal Police Office has now taken over further investigations into the case.
