Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has captured the attention of social media, late-night shows and online commentators as a “smoldering Italian-American” sex symbol .
ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel shared in a monologue on Tuesday night that his co-workers have a crush on the “hot” alleged murderer.
“So many women and so many men are crazy about how good-looking this murderer is. “There's a huge wave of horniness washing over us right now,” Kimmel said as he began his monologue.
Kimmel describes how in love his producers are with the UnitedHealth killer: “I would visit him in prison! And maybe bake him cookies. Maybe more…”

He added another text message: “Recipient replied: 'Yes!! “So many questions,” to which the sender replied, “Can I fix you?”
“‘I need him so much. No, so bad, so bad.'” the ABC anchor said, sharing a text message with another employee and then the text response: “The other anonymous texter replied, 'Okay, so I would visit him in prison and maybe give him cookies bake.'” . Maybe more, but I haven't thought that far yet.'”
CNN anchor Kasie Hunt was covering the latest news about the CEO's murder suspect, and when the photo of a shirtless and chiseled Mangione appeared on the screen, she encouraged the control room to take down the show banner so they could get a full view of him.
