In Pokémon TCG Pocket, the current emblem event is such a difficult task that many have already given up. So that you don't have to miss out on five consecutive wins, we'll show you three decks that give you the best chances.
With these decks you can complete the emblem event in Pokémon Pocket
What is the event about? The event “Unbeatable Gene SP Emblem Event 1” is currently running until December 16th, 6:59 a.m. German time. To get the best emblem you have to win five times in a row.
Since Pokémon TCG Pocket also depends a lot on luck, there are some who have thrown in the towel straight away. The following decks rely on a quick setup, which sometimes depends on a coin toss, but then stands in the way of opponents from fully building their own deck.

Pokémon TCG Pocket has an appointment and brings something that neither real cards nor TGC Live have
Misty/Water Deck
We use these cards:
- 2x Lapras ex
- 1x Arktos ex (if you have two, then take that and only 1x Lapras ex)
- 1x Froxy
- 1x amphicele
- 1x Quajutsu
- 2x Professor's Research
- 2x Pokéball
- 2x X Initiative
- 2x Trunks
- 2x Misty
- 2x Sabrina
- 2x Giovanni (or 1x Giovanni and 1x red card)
That's why we recommend it to you: Misty is probably one of the strongest, if unfair, cards in the game right now. If you have already had a successful coin toss, your chance of winning increases to almost 80%, as a Reddit user recently calculated. We completed the event thanks to this deck.
You can change this on the deck: If you're missing certain cards, here are plenty of alternatives (assuming you already have Misty in your collection):
- No Quajutsu? Then just take an Enton and Entoron with you and prevent every opponent from being able to play support cards at the beginning. A great counter for a cozy Misty deck.
- No Arktos ex or Lapras ex? Then include Starmie ex in your deck, which does more damage with just two Energy than the other two ex-Pokémon.
- No ex-water card? Then it's best to rely on the normal Arktos, Gyarados or Lapras. In combination with Misty, the cards continue to be filled with energy very quickly and can therefore exploit their potential.
Pyro deck
We use these cards:
- 2x Vulpix
- 2x vulnona
- 2x magma
- 2x Professor's Research
- 2x Pokéball
- 2x X Initiative
- 2x Pyro
- 2x Sabrina
- 2x Trunks
- 2x Giovanni (or 2x red card or 1x Giovanni and 1x red card)
That's why we recommend it to you: Another very quickly built deck relies on Pyro's trainer card. With this, the next attack from Vulnona, Galoppa and Magmar does +30 damage. The deck here relies primarily on the quick setup of Vulnona, with which, in combination with Pyro, you can, for example, immediately put a Pikachu ex out of action.
You should not make any major changes to the deck. Although there is a stronger fire-type Pokémon like Arcanine ex or Charizard ex, they rely again on the structure provided by Lavados ex. All cards that you have to own first. You can still put Galoppa in your deck, but in our opinion that only makes it less likely that the much stronger Vulnona will end up in your hand.
Arbok deck
We use these cards:
- 2x Retta
- 2x Arbok
- 1x Taubsi
- 1x Tauboga
- 1x pigeon boss
- 2x Professor's Research
- 2x Pokéball
- 2x X Initiative
- 2x Giovanni
- 2x Sabrina
- 2x Trunks
- 1x red card
That's why we recommend it to you: If you can build Arbok quickly, then you have a deck at hand that requires your opponent to pay close attention and adapt their strategy. You are welcome to lock onto your opponent's ex-cards, which are still being built up and are defeated before they can use their strong attacks.
Overall, the deck is the next highest of the three decks. Nevertheless, many are not prepared for the tactics with Arbok and are taken by surprise, which in the end brings you victory.
Incidentally, the decks presented here are not necessarily the best decks in the game. This is mainly because we have chosen decks that rely on a quick setup or can give you a lot of energy in a short time (albeit with a bit of luck).
A current overview of the strongest decks can be found here:
Important NOTE: In the end, of course, even the best deck with the highest chances of winning is of no use to you if you don't have a little luck when drawing cards or tossing coins. Therefore, of course, it can always happen that no matter how good your deck is, you can still lose.
