Istanbul is top travel destination
According to the current Travel Horizons Report for 2025 from Lastminute.com, the Albanian coast, among others, is becoming the top trend destination. Compared to the previous year, the number of bookings has increased by 100 percent. This is hardly surprising, as the coastal region offers breathtaking beaches.
Lastminute.com also lists Montenegro and Istanbul as popular destinations, with a 98 percent increase in searches and a large number of established holidaymakers. “Montenegro is having its moment as a budget-friendly Mediterranean destination,” it says.
