Set on a real ship, the crew – who Shayne admitted was suffering from seasickness – enlists passengers in the filming.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the former X Factor winner explained: “People come onto the ship who recognize the ship and say, 'We took the opportunity to book the same thing in the hope we'd see the same film.' become'.” And then they become part of the show.

“So we basically invite people. What was great this time was that we also had little leaflets with a barcode.”

“You just scan the barcode and enter your name if you want to be an extra.

The real boat, called MSC Virtuosa, sets sail from Southampton every month.

The impressive ship has ten restaurants, 21 bars and 5 swimming pools.

Antonio Paradiso, MSC Cruises' managing director for the UK and Ireland, previously said on the cruise ship's website: “This new series with Channel 5 will bring the splendor of MSC Virtuosa into living rooms across the country, giving viewers a glimpse into life on board “Our world-class ships.
