Samsung will only introduce Android 15 and One UI 7 in the final version with the launch of the Galaxy S25 smartphone. Those interested can already test the beta version on the Galaxy S24 smartphones. Many are dissatisfied because the animations in particular, which should actually be much better, are currently causing problems. Samsung will face this, but it doesn't have much time left.

Samsung has problems with animations on Android 15
Samsung is eliminating the need for improvements to the beta version of its new Android interface One UI 7. Especially dying Transition animations between apps do not yet meet the company's high standards. A Samsung moderator has now officially confirmed that the developers are already working on improvements (source: SamMobile).
An alert beta tester pointed out in the US community forum that Previous internal test versions of the software had significantly smoother app transitions as the public beta. Samsung responded to this criticism in an unusually transparent manner, confirming that the trial version, dubbed “ZXKN,” actually offered more natural animation effects.
For Samsung, the animations are not an insignificant detail. At the in-house developer conference SDC 2024, the group emphasized that One UI 7 is a “stronger emotional connection“should create between user and device. Practically every interaction on smartphones is accompanied by animations – and they have to run smoothly.
Samsung is running out of time
Samsung doesn't really have much time to adapt the animations. The Galaxy S25 smartphones are scheduled to be presented on January 22, 2025. The Galaxy S24 smartphones should Android 15 with One UI 7 expected to arrive in February 2025. At least the animations ran smoothly in an older version. It is not completely ruled out that Samsung could do it too.
