The royals form a unit at the royal dinner for the Nobel Prize winners
Everything on one card! The Swedish royals, including Princess Victoria and Queen Silvia, shine like a sea of blue on the occasion of the Nobel Prize dinner in the ballroom of Stockholm Palace and (almost) all form a cohesive fashion unit.
Wow, what a sight. At the royal dinner for the Nobel laureates, which took place the day after the awards ceremony on December 10, the members of the Swedish royal family once again demonstrated their unparalleled sense of fashion. The second evening exudes just as much royal splendor as the first evening of the actual Nobel Prize ceremony. A royal dinner will be held at Stockholm Palace in honor of the Nobel Prize winners. And this year the female royals are relying on a closed fashion unit.
A glittering sea of blue: (Almost) everyone comes to the royal dinner in aqua tones
Disappear in the crowd? Actually, not necessarily always what people want. But with complete unity and when everyone pulls together, the plan works. Both Queen Silvia, Princess Victoria and sister-in-law Sofia are choosing blue this evening. While the Swedish queen kicks things off in a dark blue lace gown, her daughter and daughter-in-law follow suit and also enchant with designs in rich blue.

But it's not new! The Crown Princess pulls an older piece from H&M out of her wardrobe, once again emphasizing her understanding of local designers. The ruffled gown from H&M Conscious looks like a classic princess dress and, together with her “Power Rock” clutch from Swarovski and the Boucheron “Laurel Wreath” tiara, seems to be the perfect look for the Nobel Prize dinner.
The shooting star of the current issue of Vogue Scandinavia also grabs a special old piece of clothing and also gives a whole dress new life in Stockholm Castle.

Princess Sofia wears Victoria's maternity gown
In many cases, maternity fashion is not an easy task for normal women. However, if you also have to make sure that you look like a real princess and make a good impression at a dinner for Nobel Prize winners, the task of finding a beautiful dress will definitely be difficult. It's lucky that Princess Sofia, 40, is not only pregnant for the fourth time and is therefore a professional at showcasing her baby bump in a royal way – but also has a sister-in-law close by who also wore a Nobel Prize gown a few years ago. Dinner was needed. So it's no wonder that Prince Carl Philip's wife, 45, is taking advantage of this fact and is getting ready for the evening of December 11th in Victoria's wardrobe. Crown Princess Victoria, 46, – the original owner of the blue sequin dress by Pär Engsheden – chose the piece for the Nobel celebrations in 2011 when she was pregnant with Princess Estelle, 12, and also in 2015 with Prince Oscar, 8.
Sofia complements the great dress with another loan: the “Aquamarine Kokoshnik” tiara. This comes from the possession of Princess Margaretha, 90, and has already passed over many heads of the Swedish royal family. Long earrings with aquamarine complete the look in Three Shades of Blue.
