“The last sign of life” continues to be desolate – Quotenmeter.de

Kabel is currently struggling with major problems on Friday.

In the last few months, Kabel Eins launched a true crime program offensive. This was first implemented with the series “Germany's most spectacular criminal cases”, which, for the most part, only performed mixedly in a corridor of 2.9, through 3.7 and up to 5.4 percent. The related production “The Last Sign of Life” has now been programmed on the said broadcast slot, but so far it has been a real flop with ratings of around 2.6 and 2.0 percent

If the true crime format wants to free itself from the noose of potential cancellation, it will have to improve significantly – did it this week? A look at the data reveals that this was not the case again, on the contrary: a further disastrous 2.2 percent resulted from just 0.09 million active actions. Overall, only 1.6 percent through 0.38 million. It's a miracle that the production was still in the program; a sequel seems to be dead.

Afterwards, a recently shown episode of the aforementioned previous series “Germany's Most Spectacular Criminal Cases” was repeated again – a hopeless undertaking given that it was first broadcast just a few weeks ago. The increase to a moderately mixed 4.1 percent using 0.14 million advertising-related items is almost surprising given this background.
