Nicole Kidman has 'real bruises all over her body' after filming a movie where she had 'too many orgasms' – film

Nicole Kidman has revealed she escaped with some war injuries after filming intense scenes for her upcoming erotic thriller.

The Australian actress, 57, said she was covered in bruises “all over” her body after filming some intimate moments with her co-star Harris Dickinson, 28.

The couple secured the lead roles in Halina Reijn's new film. Baby girlwhich examines the nature of power dynamics and sexuality in a professional environment.

Kidman plays workaholic CEO Romy, who ends up having an affair with her much younger intern Samuel (Dickinson), while her husband (Antonio Banderas) is clueless.

When the film finally hits UK cinemas on January 10th, be sure to pay attention to how much effort Kidman has put into the raunchy scenes that litter the film.

The Moulin Rouge Star had previously spoken about having to stop production at one point because she was having “too many orgasms.”

And now she has revealed more details about the exhaustion she felt on set while constantly feigning joy.

Kidman sat down with them Spider-Man Star Zendaya, 28, for Variety's “Actors on Actors” feature to discuss how the sex scenes in Baby girl and the hit HBO series Big little lies influenced her.

She explained that it was “really tiring going through all those emotions” as her body didn't recognize that she was acting out.

“So you’re enduring trauma yourself,” Kidman said.

“To Baby girlthere were parts that are now not in the film we shot that helped me – it was exhausting, but it was also just emotionally disturbing.

“Same when I did it Big little lies. This was disturbing to my body and mind because I couldn't distinguish between what was real and what wasn't.

“I would have real bruises all over my back and body.”

Zendaya then admitted that she also “still has her Rue scars” from filming some harrowing scenes in season two euphoria.

The two then discussed how they try to leave their characters' emotional baggage on set instead of taking it home with them.

Kidman continued, “My brain would say, 'Wait, you're hurt'.”

“So I did things like cleanse my chakras and pray and bring out the sage,” he said A family affair actor said.

“Honestly, I will take anything so that I can enter the next location freely and without scars, damage or injuries. Which sounds like I’m not crazy, but I’m not.”

“Even just a massage where you suddenly get a nice touch. This is healing and we must heal.”

“I'm still learning not to sacrifice my body for art because part of me wants to. It’s a journey of appreciating who I am.”

But make no bones about it, Kidman is still raving about being the center of attention Baby girl.

She added: “As soon as I heard it said Baby girlI think so. I want to be the little girl.

“And a lot of it is chemistry. [Director Halina Reijn] was like, 'What about Harris Dickinson?'”
