The Bavarian state championship in cheerleading was a great success for the Landsberg Starlights. The Landsberg cheerleaders traveled to Ingolstadt with nine teams and impressed with outstanding performances in all age groups. But it's not just the great placements that bring great joy.
The Twinkle Stars competed with many children who were taking part in a championship for the first time. Despite the excitement, the youngest students impressed the jury with a clean program and secured an excellent second place. The Glitter Stars impressed with a powerful and technically demanding performance that deservedly earned them the title. The Rising Stars also impressed with a successful program and ultimately achieved a strong third place. The newly founded team, the Fairy Stars, was also able to impress and took an impressive second place. The Shining Stars round off the successes of the youngest age groups. With their strong performance they also became runners-up.
A Landsberg team celebrates a successful championship premiere
The Sparkling Stars, another new youth team, competed in a championship for the first time. Although many of the girls were newcomers, they presented themselves confidently and narrowly missed the podium. They can still be very satisfied with a proud fourth place. The second youth team, the Shooting Stars, also impressed with a strong program that earned them the runner-up title.
The group concludes the championship with the adults. For dying The Starforce group of the Landsberg Starlights was the first to take part in a state championship. Despite the excitement, they mastered the challenges and achieved an impressive third place with their successful program. The finale is the Starlights, who impressed the jury with a varied and technically very strong performance. They secure the national championship title in their category. The Landsberger Starlights return home with this impressive record: two national championship titles, four runner-up titles, two third places and one fourth place speak for the club's excellent performance. But that's not all: All Landsberg teams qualified for the regional championship, which took place in Ulm on February 22, 2025. There couldn't be a better motivation for training. (AZ)
