Die The Game Awards 2024 are behind us and presenter Geoff Keighley didn't miss the opportunity to once again reveal some big world premieres. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the industry event, there was a colorful mix of big AAA blockbusters and various playful smaller titles. Borderlands 4: First gameplay scenes for the loot shooter presented
After various small hints and a short Teaser trailer Gearbox finally released the first gameplay scenes as part of the TGA “Borderlands 4” revealed. The latest offshoot of the loot shooter series takes you into “the biggest and craziest world” of the franchise. The game world is populated by numerous monsters and, of course, a lot of loot is a must. But the story should also convince fans of the game series.
Unlike its predecessors, it's not going to Pandora again, but rather to a completely new planet. Not only do new adventures and dangers await, but also new characters. By the way, you are free to choose whether you want to experience the game alone or with up to three friends in co-op mode.
Dying Light The Beast: Meet the Baron in the new trailer
I am horror adventurer “Dying Light: The Beast” Kyle Crane, the main character of the first game in the series, returns. This time he has to deal with the Baron, the main villain of the latest part of the game series. He is a brilliant, but also calculating, emotionless scientist and at the same time probably the greatest threat that our protagonist has had to face so far.

Elden Ring Nightreign: Defy the dangers of the night together
FromSoftware made a surprise appearance at The Game Awards 2024 “Elden Ring Nightreign” Announced a stand-alone spin-off of his acclaimed action RPG epic. Intergalactic: Naughty Dog's sci-fi adventure finally revealed
The organizer had saved a very special surprise for the end of The Game Awards 2024. With Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet The new game from the renowned development studio Naughty Dog (“Uncharted”) has been announced. This time we take Neil Druckmann and his team into the distant future. In the role of a notorious bounty hunter, we have to try to fly off a mysterious planet.
Naughty Dog has ambitious plans for the sci-fi adventure. “Intergalactic” is said to offer the “deepest gameplay in Naughty Dog history” to date. The development studio also wants to use all the experience it has gained so far to surpass previous games. Will they succeed?
Mafia The Old Country: Experience the prehistory of the trilogy up close
During The Game Awards 2024 we were also able to take a more detailed look at the action game “Mafia: The Old Country” for the first time. This time this takes us not to the USA, but to Sicily at the beginning of the 20th century. In the prequel to the previous trilogy, new characters take center stage. The makers of Hangar 13 hope to start a new saga with their playable love letter and dark mafia stories.

With the picturesque action-adventure “Okami”, Capcom released a title in 2006 that quickly achieved a certain cult status. However, due to rather mediocre sales, the game did not receive a successor – at least until now! Capcom has once again teamed up with game director Hideki Kamiya to create a “Okami Sequel” project to realize! Sun goddess Amaterasu also prepared her return.
But not only Kamiya is returning, but also other parts of the old development team. Only this time it's not just one studio working on the action adventure, but three teams. After a number of different hints, it was already clear in the run-up to The Game Awards 2024 that Hazelight Studios (“It Takes Two”) would unveil their latest work. As part of the event, the unveiling of the trailer follows “Split Fiction”a new co-op adventure from the studio celebrated for games of this type.
The game focuses on friends Mio and Zoe, who must work together to reclaim their creative heritage. At the same time, however, they are also very opposite authors, one focusing on fantasy and the other on science fiction. As their crazy adventure progresses, they find themselves in the stories they create. In order to return home, they must master various skills.
The Witcher 4: Ciri follows in Geralt's footsteps
A first official trailer for the upcoming dark fantasy adventure “The Witcher 4” was released quite early in the course of the TGA show. After the events of the last part, CD Projekt Red is not focusing on the witcher Geralt of Rivia this time, but on his foster daughter Ciri. In the video, she visits a village where an old ritual is to be carried out to appease a dangerous monster.
