Hollywood star Jamie Foxx required medical treatment after being hit in the face by a glass during a birthday party at a Beverly Hills restaurant. “Someone at another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth,” a rep for the film star said in a statement to the Los Angeles Times. “He required stitches and is on the mend. The police were called and the matter is now in the hands of law enforcement,” it added.
The incident occurred on Friday evening shortly after 10 p.m., according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. The police responded to an emergency call about a possible attack “with a deadly weapon.” However, I discovered on site that this was not the case. “Instead, the incident was a physical altercation between the parties,” according to the police press release. The assault was “documented” and no arrests were made.
