Hamburg – In a hair salon in Hamburg-Billstedt, several people were injured by scissors on Saturday evening. A suspect has now been arrested.

A spokesman for the Hamburg police confirmed to TAG24 the operation in the “FA Aydogan” hairdressing salon on Schiffbeker Weg. Officials are said to have received the emergency call around 7:15 p.m.
After several reporters on site initially reported a stabbing, the police soon spoke of scissors as the murder weapon.
At the beginning of the violent confrontation between several men, a window of the salon was said to have been broken, the spokesman told TAG24.

Further background to the dispute is still unclear. After a short manhunt, a suspect has now been arrested. No further details about the alleged perpetrator are currently known.
Five people were injured in the incident, four of them slightly, one of the men is said to have serious stab wounds. All injured people were taken to nearby hospitals by emergency services. But no one had life-threatening injuries, the spokesman said.
The police are currently still on site and have cordoned off a large area of the crime scene. The Schiffbeker Weg was completely closed in the direction of Rahlstedt.
The criminal police have started the investigation.
