AI company in the US demands: “Stop hiring humans”

New advertising posters from an AI company from San Francisco are currently making the rounds in the news because they are designed to be provocative and so the advertising campaign is also receiving a lot of criticism. The AI company Artisan is using the slogan on its new advertising posters: “Stop hiring people.” Rather, it is time to usher in a new era in the world of work, namely the era of AI employees.

What does the AI company Artisan offer?

In cooperation with the start-up accelerator Y-Combinator, Artisan offers so-called AI employees. These should be able to drive automation in sales processes and strengthen customer service. In order to increasingly integrate AI offerings here, Artisan has now thought about simply portraying people as useless in the context of the new advertising campaign. In the individual posters, the company jokes that AI will never show up to work with a hangover and that the zoom cameras will never “fail.” The company also complains that AI does not insist on a healthy work-life balance.

There is a lot of negative reaction to the AI billboards in San Francisco

It was certainly Artisan's intention to provoke with the quick sayings and to attract attention in this way. Of course, people in modern San Francisco were hoping for support, but the reactions on site and online are clearly negative. A comment on Reddit suggested that the posters were very offensive to any hard-working person. Incidentally, the CEO of Artisan, Jaspar Carmichael-Jack, also commented on the advertising campaign. He explains that boring advertising slogans don't attract attention.
