Second beta fixes numerous bugs

Samsung has released a major update to its One UI 7 Android overlay that is currently available for testing. The new Beta 2 focuses on fixing various bugs and optimizing usability. The update addresses a number of issues that users have reported in the past.

One of the most important improvements concerns the appearance and functionality of the Now Bar. The update fixes a bug that caused display errors after closing the bar. The personal app drawer has also been revised to eliminate display errors.

Samsung has solved the connection problems with the Dex function for TV devices. Users can now easily connect their devices wirelessly. The update also corrects the lack of transparency in the reminder widget, although this requires a separate app update.

According to the developers, the user interface has been noticeably sped up. The transitions between apps in the overview of recently used applications are now smoother. Access to Smart Select in the side panel has also been optimized.

Fixed an annoying issue with power saving mode that resulted in an unwanted reboot. The GPS functionality has been improved and errors in the operation of the Quick Panel have been corrected.

For players, there is a new option in Game Booster that allows you to adjust the screen refresh rate. Samsung has also fixed issues with the Phone and Messages apps that cause them to crash.

The update also fixes weather widget bugs and fixes Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity issues when using Routines. The missing toolbar in the side panel remains a known issue. With that in mind: happy updating and trying out!
