The police prevented climbers from occupying the Brandenburg Gate. Police Chief Barbara Slowik (58) said this in the Interior Committee of the House of Representatives.

The following days saw many demonstrations and turmoil with attempted blockades by demonstrators. The police prevented demonstrators from entering the Hotel Adlon and various blockades on the streets.
On all days, the police temporarily arrested 317 demonstrators to establish their identities or deprived them of their freedom. There were 260 reports on suspicion of breach of the peace, resistance and attacks on police officers.
