Nvidia graphics card
A comprehensive leak about the Geforce RTX 5070 Ti promises a strong update in terms of performance and RAM for the “70” series.
On January 6, 2025, Nvidia will probably present the “RTX 50” graphics cards at CES. The “70” series has always been a very good choice for upper middle class customers. While there was still criticism of the limited graphics memory (12 GB) in the RTX 40 generation, a current leak along with other information could create a little anticipation.
The website wccftech.com reports that the Geforce RTX 5070 Ti will have 16 GB of GDDR7 memory, which works around 33 percent faster than its predecessor. The GB203-300 will use the same, but slightly slimmed down, GPU of the RTX 5080 (70 vs. 84 streaming multiprocessors). The total board power is 350 watts and is well over 20 percent higher than the RTX 4070 Ti (Super, 285 watts each). However, leaker kopite7kimi thinks it could stay at 285 watts.
Official leaks have already mentioned 8,960 shader / CUDA cores for the RTX 5070 Ti. That's less than the rumored half of an RTX 5090, but “only” 17 percent less than a Geforce RTX 5080, which can therefore use slightly faster memory.
According to wccftech.com, the Geforce RTX 5070 Ti is expected for the first quarter, just like an RTX 5090, 5080 and a 5070 (without Ti). RTX 5060 Ti and “non-Ti” are planned for later.
This year’s pricing is likely to be exciting – and probably with less anticipation. But there is no current rumor about this. At the end of October, a good $2,000 for the flagship was floating around the rumor mill.
