The US stock market had a strong day of trading on Monday. The bulls clearly set the tone on Wall Street. In addition to a new record high for Bitcoin, quantum and AI stocks are causing jumps of joy among investors and especially among the readers of Germany's leading stock market magazine.
Bitcoin had already reached a new record high on the night from Sunday to Monday, thereby laying the foundation for significant price gains for crypto stocks such as MicroStrategy and Coinbase (DER AKTIONÄR reported). In the end, Bitcoin even surpassed its own record and rose to $107,594.10.
At the close of US trading, the cryptocurrency was trading at $105,881.36. Against this background, the crypto exchange operator Coinbase gains 1.5 percent, while MicroStrategy exits trading almost unchanged.

Meanwhile, the rally also continued at Broadcom. After the AI chip manufacturer's shares exploded by 25 percent last Friday following strong quarterly figures, they rose another eleven percent at the start of the week. In the wake of this, Micron Technology's shares rose in price by 5.6 percent. Rival Nvidia weakened slightly with a discount of 1.7 percent.
The members of the Magnificent 7 Index were also in demand. New records were set by Apple, Amazon, Alphabet and Tesla, among others. The reasons for this were, among other things, bullish analyst comments.
Not to be forgotten is the rally in quantum stocks. D-Wave exploded by 44 percent, shooting star Rigetti rose by around 18 percent and IonQ rose by around 24 percent. All three stocks were recommended early on by the Hot Stock Report stock exchange service.
Meanwhile, the Dow Jones closed at its daily low, down 0.25 percent to 43,717 points. The Nasdaq 100 saved an increase of 1.45 percent to 22,096 points and the S&P 500 rose by 0.4 percent to 6,074 points.
