Batman jumps on the popcorn bucket trend with a “glowing” Bat Signal

A new Batman popcorn bucket has been unveiled. This Bat-Signal can with a built-in light function is already going viral on the internet.

After the now infamous “Fleshlight” popcorn bucket from Dune 2 Sandworm went viral on the internet for all the wrong reasons, other companies have followed the trend and released their own collectible tins to jump on the hype train.

Both Deadpool & Wolverine and Alien: Romulus released special popcorn buckets in recent weeks to coincide with their theatrical releases, earning high praise from fans thanks to their unique and, in the case of Deadpool & Wolverine, hilarious designs.

Now AMC has decided to get in on the action by unveiling a special 85th anniversary Batman tin can, which has already been praised by fans as a totally “awesome” new collectible.

The popcorn bucket in question is modeled after the caped crusaders' Bat-Signal, which glows high in the sky to indicate when Batman is roaming the streets of Gotham or when Jim Gordon and the LAPD need his help.

In addition, the $34.99 popcorn can lights up and projects the classic yellow and black Batman logo onto roofs and walls depending on the angle.

Batman fans have praised the design and details of this new popcorn bucket on social media.

One X-user commented, “These customized buckets are seriously so pretty,” while another added that the Batman can was a “major damn collector's item.”

A third even admitted: “This is the bucket I would spend money on.”

However, others pointed out the potential problems that a popcorn bucket with a giant Bat Signal light feature could cause in movie theaters. Another X user commented: “This is going to cause untold problems, I can feel it.”

For those of you who really want this new Batman 85th Anniversary popcorn bucket, it will be available now at all AMC theaters. 28 August 2024coinciding with the re-release of The Batman.
