A FORMER NBA player shared a grim final video just days before he was found dead in Russia on his ex-wife's birthday.
The body of 32-year-old Janis Timma was discovered on the front steps of a high-rise apartment complex in central Moscow on Tuesday.
In an Instagram post shared five days before his death, Timma captures a short clip of himself taking jump shots outside in the pouring rain.
Timma didn't caption the post, but added the song Boombastic by Jamaican reggae artist Shaggy in the background.
“Boombastic, Tell me awesome, touch me on the back, She says I'm Mr. Ro-Mantic,” the lyrics in Timma's video read.
An official cause of death has not been determined for Timma, who played on the Orlando Magic Summer League squad prior to the start of the 2021-2022 season.
However, the preliminary cause of death was determined to be suicide.
