Xiaomi 13T Pro receives Android 15
The Xiaomi 13T Pro is now receiving the long-awaited update to HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15. The over 6GB major update is rolling out gradually and, in addition to a completely revised user interface, also brings with it all the innovations of the current Android system. You can download the new version without special region settings, i.e. the source.
As is usual with major software updates, distribution takes place in waves. While some users can already install the new version, others still have to be patient – but that's completely normal. There are inconsistencies in the content of the update. Xiaomi should forego the AI features in the 13T Prowhich are installed on the Xiaomi 14T Pro through the update.
Just like with other manufacturers, Xiaomi could only bring the AI features to certain models and not automatically to all those supported by HyperOS 2.0. Android 15, on the other hand, implements all of the innovations.
More Xiaomi smartphones will follow
Xiaomi has released a long list of devices that will receive the HyperOS 2.0 update. The Chinese company separates the interface from the Android version. Not all devices will automatically receive Android 15when HyperOS 2.0 is installed on your smartphone.
Xiaomi customers can still be happy because the many software updates are slowly starting to arrive. However, Samsung won't start until next year. We'll keep you updated.
