Another update is coming for Fortnite. Almost a week before the holidays, this of course brings the Winter Festival back into play. You can find out here what the patch could contain and when the servers will go offline for the update.

Hello, hello, dear ones! The new update for Fortnite is coming today. We'll grab a cup of coffee first so we can accompany the server down here for you later. In the meantime, you can play a few more rounds before the server goes offline.
Fortnite v33.11: These are the known server down times
- When does the Fortnite server go offline? On Wednesday, December 18th
- What time does the server down start? This time the servers should be switched off again between 9 and 10 a.m. German time. Matchmaking traditionally goes offline 30 minutes in advance.

When can I play Fortnite again? A specific time for this is not known at Epic Games. Typically smaller updates like this take, but not this long. We also expect that you will be able to play again around lunchtime. We will inform you in the live ticker above as soon as the servers are live again.

As always, well-known leakers like Shiina and iFireMonkey have already revealed a lot of details about the next update in advance. Although these are leaks so far, they have largely been proven in the past.

- Possible release of the Pixar's Cars and Cyberpunk 2077 collab

The Winter Festival itself should not start directly with the update. Instead, according to the leaks, it starts on December 20th. The event will then run over the holidays and end on January 7, 2025.
