In your free time you train a sports team or are a reading sponsor. You are committed to equal rights or more environmental protection. You are in the volunteer fire department or help at the animal shelter. You support refugees learning German or disadvantaged children with their homework. These are just a few examples of how women get involved in helping others. And these are exactly the women we are looking for. Women who take responsibility and stand up for people. Women who make a difference and encourage people. Or in short: We are looking for you.
The magazines ROSENHEIMERIN and CHIEMGAUERIN would like to introduce you and the project you are involved in. “There are so many inspiring and impressive women living in our region who give important impulses and use their free time to promote good ideas and more togetherness,” says editor-in-chief Raphaela Kreitmeir, explaining the campaign. “Together with the OVB24 news portals, we would like to give these women a platform so that they can inspire other people and point out the project that is close to their hearts.”

All adult women who work for others in their free time and live in the region can apply for the campaign until January 31st – this region, in addition to the city and district of Rosenheim, also includes Chiemgau, Berchtesgadener Land, the district of Altötting and the Mühldorf district includes. Simply send an email to [email protected] with the following information: Your age, profession, contact details and the most important things about your project:
- What is the name of the project, where is it and how are you involved?
- Were you motivated to get involved in this project?
- Why do you want to draw attention to the project?
Then ideally attach two photos in landscape format (a portrait of you and a picture of you during your engagement/project) in color and you can send off your application.
More attention and visibility for your passion project
All applicants will be presented with their projects on the OVB24 platforms. Five of them, chosen by a jury of experts, will receive a professional photo and video shoot in May. With these photos and videos you can present your project in detail to all users of the OVB24 news portals for a week. Whoever receives the most votes in the online voting on the OVB24 platforms will grace the cover of the autumn editions of ROSENHEIMERIN and CHIEMGAUERIN and can report on their commitment in the magazines and thus motivate others to become active themselves.
