Moons of Darsalon is not only visually reminiscent of Lemmings and mixes it all with a bit of run 'n' gun

Have you ever heard of the platformer Moons of Darsalon by Dr. Kucho! Games include? It has been available on Steam since 2023, and the console release is scheduled for next year.

The implementation is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 6, 2025.

Pixelated and colorful

Not only is the game visually reminiscent of the classic Lemmings, it is also about getting your team, consisting of Darsanauts, safely to the finish line.

You have to help your people overcome obstacles and dangers so that as many of them as possible reach safety in the end.

But that's not all you do in this game. Moons of Darsalon also incorporates run 'n' gun elements by running, jumping and shooting around you. You can also use a jetpack or different vehicles, among other things.

By the way, the graphics are created using a “unique render pipeline” that combines modern lighting with 2D sprites and 3D models. A proper CRT filter should not be missing.

“Teams of Darsanauts have been lost during their mining missions on the various moons of the planet Darsalon,” it says. “You have to complete several rescue missions in which you lead them to the nearest base station. They will use their own AI to follow you and obey your commands, protect enemies, control ground and air vehicles, destroy terrain, and even create new paths with the ground generator cannon.

The price for the console versions will be 16.99 euros.
