The AI company OpenAI is bringing its well-known chatbot ChatGPT to a new platform: the phone. In the US, you can talk to ChatGPT and ask questions by calling 1-800-CHATGPT (+18002428478). One 15-minute conversation with the software per month is free. In other countries – including Germany – ChatGPT can be reached at this number for text chats on WhatsApp.
OpenAI employees demonstrated in a video stream that calls to ChatGPT also work with an old flip cell phone and a rotary phone. The software was launched two years ago initially only with written chats; on computers you have been able to communicate with it using the voice function for some time now.
