Tekken 8: Clive Rosfield enters the ring – Patch 1.10.1 with new features and gameplay optimizations

Tekken 8 is receiving a major update with patch 1.10.1, which brings new content and improvements to the gameplay. The focus is particularly on Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16 as the new DLC fighter. Players can also look forward to numerous features such as a revised photo mode, community functions and optimizations to the combat system. Cosmetic innovations and Christmas extras are also part of the update.

Clive Rosfield and new content

Clive Rosfield is the fourth DLC fighter in the Year 1 Pass and is accompanied by the Phoenix Gate stage. Early Access players have been able to play Clive since December 16, 2024, while general access to Clive will be available tonight. Clive was introduced at the Game Awards 2024 and brought back memories for fans of Noctis from Final Fantasy 15, who appeared as DLC in Tekken 7.

In addition to Clive, the update brings the TEKKEN Fight Pass – Round 4, which offers new missions and rewards. Final Fantasy 16-themed collaboration packs, such as Joshua and Jill-inspired skins and the holiday-themed Combat Santa set, also expand character customization options.

New features and improvements

The update contains a number of improvements. The redesigned Photo Mode allows further customizations such as grime and humidity filters, facial expression changes and frame-by-frame adjustments at 60 FPS. In addition, a player search function has been introduced, with which you can search by name or TEKKEN ID and send friend requests. Players who disconnect during ranked matches will face point deductions in the future. Additionally, hitboxes and collision detection have been optimized for characters like Heihachi, Paul, and Eddy.
