Anna Ringle is promoted to dpa office manager in Washington

The dpa office in Washington is getting a new editorial director: Anna Ringle will be head of the five-person team in the US capital on July 1, 2025. The 43-year-old journalist was previously responsible for the dpa's media reporting from Berlin. As regional office manager, she will be responsible for all dpa reporting from North America. In addition to Washington, the news agency has correspondent offices in New York City, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Ringle succeeds the previous office manager Christiane Jacke, who will take on new tasks within the agency.

Anna Ringle was born in Karlsruhe. After completing her master's degree in intercultural German-French studies in Aix-en-Provence and Tübingen, she volunteered at the dapd news agency before moving to dpa in 2013, where she worked in the Panorama department and as a Brandenburg correspondent.
