WhatsApp sets new rules! What users need to consider now

But this also means that you should only mention the group if you really want everyone to see your status update. Those tagged can then share the content. However, the original author remains anonymous.

WhatsApp users have to follow two rules

In order to integrate the new feature into the app, the developer had to make two restrictions. There are restrictions on the number of groups and their members that can be marked.

As stated in “Schmidtisblog”, among others, a maximum of five groups can be mentioned in the status update. In addition, the feature only works for groups that have no more than 32 members. In addition, only a few beta testers have been able to test the function so far. For others it will be gradually unlocked. However, it is currently unknown when it will be available to all WhatsApp users.
