Function upgrade

With NothingOS 3.0, Nothing is now distributing the update to Android 15. The innovations include new widgets and expanded AI functions.

The London technology company Nothing is now distributing Nothing OS 3.0 (NOS 3.0) to the first Nothing phones. The operating system is based on Android 15 and promises an advanced user experience that builds heavily on Nothing's distinctive design language. We take a look at the new features.

NothingOS 3: New features for improved user experience

One of the new features in NOS 3 is the introduction of a revamped photo gallery app. This offers an optimized search function as well as advanced editing tools such as filters, tags and suggestions.

Additionally, NOS 3.0 stands out with the integration of new shared widgets that appear on the customizable lock screen. These widgets are designed to encourage interaction with friends and family by providing simple and intuitive ways to share content and access information. The countdown widget in particular serves as a handy tool to keep track of important events and increase productivity, so nothing.

Also new is the AI-controlled Smart Drawer, which automatically sorts apps into appropriate categories. This should not only simplify app management, but also contribute to a cleaner user interface.

Further improvements and updates

In addition to the new functions, Nothing places great emphasis on optimized visual and technical performance. NOS 3.0 brings revised typography and an improved display of quick settings, which are intended to make daily interaction with devices more fluid and intuitive. The popup view has also been redesigned to make notifications and interactions more engaging.
