Annecy (France) – What a day for Martin Uldal (23)! On Thursday the Norwegian celebrated Biathlon shooting star his first World Cup victory in France. But at the finish line, the great success literally had a bitter aftertaste.
There, the 23-year-old threw up “like a waterfall,” reports the “NRK.”
“My stomach completely turned. He does that sometimes. I felt it as soon as I crossed the finish line,” Uldal told the radio station afterwards.
But the go-getter didn't let that ruin his first triumph in the fifth World Cup race.

He was happily amazed at his flawless performance without any penalties in the sprint, with which he left compatriot Johannes Thingnes Bö (31) behind him in second place. The Swede Sebastian Samuelsson (27) came third.
The extremely strong performance left even Uldal speechless: “It was really fantastic. There's nothing else to say. It was great. Normally I'm pretty talkative, but now I'm not so talkative,” revealed the Norwegian.
