Man wrecks Ferrari on house wall with 1.5 per mille – Blaulichtreport-Saarland.de

Weinstraße – On Thursday evening, December 19, 2024, a spectacular traffic accident occurred on Weinstraße in Diedesfeld (Rhineland-Palatinate) at around 9:45 p.m. A Ferrari driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the porch of a residential building. Fortunately, the driver was only slightly injured, but the damage to the vehicle and building made headlines.

The Neustadt police were called to the scene of the accident and noticed a clear smell of alcohol from the driver. A voluntary breath alcohol test showed a level of 1.47 per mille, which is well above the legal limit. A blood sample was then taken from the man and his driver's license was confiscated on site.

There was six-figure damage to the Ferrari. The residential building escaped comparatively quickly; according to the police's initial assessments, the damage to the house was likely to be significantly less. Despite the massive crash, the driver was uninjured enough to wait on his own feet for further recording.

The police have opened an investigation against the driver. Subscribe to the Blue Light Report Saarland WhatsApp channel NOW and ALWAYS stay up to date directly (click here)
