Slowly but surely the cast of the upcoming slasher sequel is being completed Scream 7 gets to mess around with horror icon Ghostface again.
Alongside Mason Gooding (The autumn, All the best, Victor), who takes on the role of Chad Meeks-Martin for the third time in a row, has now also seen the return of franchise veteran Courteney Cox (Cougar Town, Friends) to be officially confirmed via the trade journal Variety. Cult reporter Gale Weathers is also making her comeback!
She is therefore the only actress of the big three, consisting of her, Neve Campbell (Twisted metal, The Witch Club) and David Arquette (Arac Attack – Attack of the eight-legged monster) in all of them so far Scream-was allowed to get involved in films. Will she survive this confrontation with the masked killer?

We will most likely find out in spring 2026 when Scream 7 released in cinemas.
Now the only question that remains to be clarified is whether Jasmin Savoy Brown (Yellowjackets, Scream (2022)), Patrick Dempsey (Ferrari, thanksgiving) and Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4, Heroes) will also be back at the party.
Melissa Barrera (Abigail, Bed rest) and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday, The Babysitter: Killer Queen) are now permanently busy and will be suspending these spin-offs after Barrera was fired from Spyglass Media Group and Ortega's fee requests were not reciprocated.
