4 arrested in North Texas on crime spree involving fatal shootings, animal cruelty and car theft

A man and three teenagers were arrested this week after allegedly fatally shooting a man, injuring a woman and a dog and stealing two vehicles, according to an Arlington police news release.

Officers responded to a parking lot in the 4900 block of Little Road around 3 a.m. Sunday to investigate a shooting. They found a man slumped over in a parked vehicle with a gunshot wound, police said.

The man, identified as 34-year-old Juan Sosa, was taken to the hospital where he died Wednesday.

According to the news release, a 45-year-old woman was in the vehicle with Sosa when he was shot. Police said she was not injured and told officers they were in the vehicle when another car pulled up behind them.
