Xiaomi 14 and 14T Pro users reported that Android Auto stopped working after updating to HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Many users report that the smartphone is no longer recognized or the screen remains black.

So far, Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the problem. It is also not mentioned in a HyperOS bug report. It can be assumed that the developers are already working on a solution. Affected users can report the error via a link provided.

Since the problem is obviously related to HyperOS 2, installing older versions of Android Auto won't help. Only downgrading to Android 14 would probably fix the problem, but that would take a lot of effort. Users who have not yet installed the HyperOS 2 update should avoid it for now.
