Darshan was released from jail on bail on October 30 after spending 131 days in jail.
Just days after Darshan was granted bail in the Renukaswamy murder case, the Kannada star is now at his farmhouse in Mysuru. As reported by ETimes, the darshan reached his farmhouse on Friday after which a number of his family members and friends also visited him. The actor also reportedly met his mother Meena at the farmhouse.
The farmhouse is located on T Narasipura Road, about 25 km from Mysuru City. Soon after Darshan reached them, the gates and entrance of the farmhouse were covered with sheets to ensure privacy.
This is Darshan's first visit to Mysuru after the Karnataka High Court granted him bail in the Renukaswamy Muder case. Darshan was released from jail on bail on October 30 after spending 131 days in jail. Darshan's partner and actress Pavithra Gowda was also released on bail from Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru.
Darshan was arrested by the Bengal Police in Mysuru on June 11, 2024. Police officials were investigating his involvement in the Renukaswamy murder case and had already confiscated his mobile phones.
Renukaswamy was found dead at Sumanahalli Bridge in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He came from middle class background, his father Kashinatha Shivanagoudara was a retired government employee. According to reports, Renukaswamy used to work at a branch of Apollo Pharmacy in Chitradurga.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka Police is also planning to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the bail granted to the Kannada actor. Recently, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand held a press conference in the city where he said, “In connection with the Renukaswamy murder case, the police are preparing to approach the Supreme Court to seek relief from the accused to challenge the bail granted by the Supreme Court.”
“We are making a proposal to the government in this regard and are in the process of filing an appeal,” he added.
