Leipzig – Die Leipziger Police are counting on the support of the public: They are looking for a suspect who is said to have attacked a man with an accomplice at the Bayerischer Bahnhof S-Bahn stop.
According to federal police spokesman Jens Damrau, the violent act occurred on November 7th last year.
At around 9.30 p.m. the injured party was standing at the elevator to the Straße des 18. Oktober exit. When the doors opened, two men got out and immediately attacked the man, punching and kicking him.
“Even when the injured party was lying on the ground, the perpetrators continued to hit and kick him,” continued Damrau. “Selected kicks were also carried out in the direction of the head.”

The perpetrators are then said to have taken the elevator back down to the stop and left towards Bayerischer Platz.
Witnesses alerted them policeBut before she arrived, the beating victim was also gone.
The federal police have initiated investigations into grievous bodily harm against the two unknown perpetrators. Thanks to the surveillance footage, one of them has already been identified.
Now the authorities are looking for the second suspect using video recordings. It is described as follows:
- approx. 20 to 30 years old
- slim stature
- was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and white sneakers
