New series “Love You to Death” starts on Apple TV+ – Quotenmeter.de

Apple TV+ is expanding its offering with the Spanish-language romantic comedy “Love You to Death” (OT: “A muerte”), which launched worldwide on February 5, 2025. The seven-part series was created by Goya-nominated director Dani de la Orden and stars Verónica Echegui (“Secret Beginnings”) and Joan Amargós (“Show Yourself”) in the lead roles.

The series tells the emotional story of Raúl, a reserved man who reconnects with his cheerful childhood friend Marta after a fateful heart cancer diagnosis. Marta, pregnant and afraid of commitment, puts her ideas about love to the test together with Raúl. Can friendship grow into a deeper relationship? The team includes Paula Malia (“Valeria”), Cristian Valencia (“Barcelona Christmas Night”) and Claudia Melo (“Love is Forever”). The series is produced by Atresmedia TV in collaboration with Sábado Películas, DeAPlaneta and Playtime Movies.

“Love You to Death” joins Apple TV+’s growing portfolio, which already includes successful Spanish-language productions such as “Acapulco” and “Land of Women.” The series will launch with two episodes, followed by weekly releases until March 12, 2025.
