What you should know
The TCU Horned Frogs will face the Montana State Bobcats in a holiday clash on Sunday at 2:00 pm ET at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs will look to extend their six-game home winning streak.
TCU is heading into this game after oddsmakers set last week's over/under low at 136.5, but even that ended up being too high. They walked away with a 58-49 victory over South Alabama on Monday.
TCU's win was a true team effort with many players putting in solid performances. Perhaps the best of them was Ernest Udeh Jr., who posted a double-double with ten points and eleven rebounds. The team also received support from Trazarien White, who scored 13 points as well as five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Montana State didn't quite have enough to beat UC Riverside on Wednesday, losing 83-80. Even though they lost, the Bobcats made a splash on offense, increasing their scoring average to 75.2 points per game (they now rank 195th in total points).
TCU's win increased its record to 6-4. This is Montana State's second straight loss and drops its season record to 5-7.
Looking ahead, TCU is the favorite in this game as experts expect a win by 10.5 points. They have been a house darling against the spread this year with a prolific record of 2-8 ATS.
